General Information: There will be a limited number of spots for each custom stocking, in order to keep my workload in check. Turn-around time will vary for each stocking, but it is usually 3-4 weeks. (This estimate could be longer if large orders are placed.) In successfully checking out with a slot, you may buy as few or as many items as you wish. (We reserve the right to refuse or limit orders.) Please buy only ONE slot. Payment will be arranged after we discuss your order and it is confirmed. Please be ready to pay as soon as you are given a total; orders are begun only after full payment is received. Prices will vary depending on fabric chosen, as well as upgrades, decorative stitches, applique-work, and special requests. Prices are the same for every size. I cannot custom size my diapering items to fit specific measurements.

Creative Freedom ~ I ask you for some creative freedom in regard to details and general construction. I will list below how each item is generally constructed. but due to any unforseeable circumstances it's possible that small variances might be necessary. I will contact you if there's a huge issue that needs to be discussed. Snap, Serging, and Microfleece colors will be chosen by me to coordinate with your chosen fabric. I will of course entertain any suggestions or special requests that you might have. Along with your fabric choices, please let me know if the item(s) need to be geared towards boys, girls, or gender neutral, which will be helpful information in my creative process.
What do you want? You may choose to order any of the following with your custom slot, in any quantity: Elfin Under Fitted Diapers, Woodland Wool Wraps, WindPro AIO's. Custom slots for clothing and/or Pixie Pants will be listed separately. Generally speaking, I will not offer to do custom dyeing with custom slots; some hand-dyed fabrics (OV and woolens) will be available as choices in the photo album. Generally speaking, you'll be looking in the "Knits" and "Organics" sections for diapers, the "Woolens" section for wool covers, and the "WindPro" section for AIO's. Also remember that solid fabrics, woolens and even some WindPros are prime candidates for embellishment, so please check out the "Decorative Stitches" folder to view some possibilities. There is an additional cost for decorative stitching.
Elfin Under Fitted Diapers ~
Your Basic Diaper~ Printed Outer, cotton knit hidden layer, hemp inner. Hemp Snap-In Soaker with microfleece top OR all hemp (no micro). Hemp soaker is 2 full layers of hemp fleece, with an additional 3 layer in the "wet-zone". Snaps across the body are hidden so no caps touch babies' tender skin. All diapering items have our unique no-droop wings.
A Better Diaper: Organics ~ Diapers can be made with Organic Velour or Bamboo Velour replacing the hemp in the diaper's body. In this case, you would have: Printed outer, cotton knit hidden layer, OV or BV inner. Organic French Terry Fleece and Bamboo French Terry Fleece are also available for diaper inners/soakers .
Upgrades and Fabric Information for Elfin Under Fitted Diapers: Some fabrics may be limited, and will be promised first come, first served according to order (invoice) number. I don't anticipate running out of fabric, but just in case please have alternative choices ready! Because my cost for fabrics varies, I must pass this cost along to you. Some fabrics will be more expensive then others. Wovens are not my first choice for front snapping diapers, because of the lack of stretch. However, they do work better for side snapping diapers. If possible, wovens will be cut on the bias, which gives them a little bit of stretch. Because my patterns were designed for use with knit (stretchy) fabrics, I encourage you to size up if choosing a woven fabric. I will no longer be doing diapers out of the patchwork fabrics.
Woodland Wool Wraps~
Your Basic Wool Wrap~
Wool covers consist of 2 layers of wool; the outer layer being the fabric of your choice, while the inner layer is typically undyed/untreated merino wool jersey. The snaps across the body of the cover are hidden, and are reinforced to prevent them pulling through. When necessary, all snaps are reinforced. (Please take care when unsnapping any wool jersey cover, as the nature of any fitted fabric makes it susceptible to runs that can cause your snaps to come out. We suggest hand washing for all of our wool products, which helps to retain the integrity of the fabric. Extreme temperature change or agitation can cause wool to shrink, which could affect the size and texture of your wool wrap.)
Pixie Petals are snap-in "diapers" (no elastic) that when used in conjunction with wool covers, create a Wool-In-One (almost!). These will be made of 2 layers of hemp fleece in the contour, with a snap-in soaker constructed just like the fitted diaper soakers.
Upgrades and Fabric Information for Woodland Wool Wraps: The weight of wool covers will vary depending on the fabric used. Generally speaking, interlock fabrics are more dense than jerseys, and usually stretchier. The "Woolens" album has been updated to give as many details as possible about each individual fabric, including texture, feel, weight, and hand (level of fulling the wool has experienced). In some cases, suggestions for snap/serging combinations are also listed.
Woodland AIO's and Fleece Wraps~
Your Basic AIO (All-in-One)~AIO's are two layers: WindPro outer, microfleece (or microchamois) inner. For AIO's, one snap-in soaker is included. Purchase additional snap-in soakers for your AIO's.
Your Basic Fleece Cover~Fleece Covers are constructed exactly the same as our AIO's, except they do not include a soaker. It is usually recommended that you choose the "Regular" cut if you intend to use your Woodland Fleece Wrap as a cover. Some folks are able to use the trim cut with prefolds and diapers with a very trim crotch width.
Upgrades and Fabric Information for Woodland AIO's and Covers: WindPro fleece generally comes in three styles: Heavyweight, Midweight, and Lightweight; each individual color is also identified by it's weight. Generally speaking, heavyweight WindPro makes a more dense/bulky diaper, but it is also tough as iron and great for nighttime (with an appropriately absorbent diaper -- not necessarily the snap-in that's included with an AIO). Lightweight WindPro is very trim and makes a great daytime AIO. "Custom Milled" Heavyweight Windpros are an additional cost (purple, raspberry, yellow, lavender, and white). I am down to the last diaper cut on some, and quantities may be limited so have alternative choices available.
